Citation Help

Did you know that many of our databases provide MLA and APA citations for the articles you find?  Look for the links that say "Cite."  In the main Library Search, this can be found on the right side of the page that loads when you click on the title of a book or an article.

Here are some resources for you to explore:

NoodleBib - not only creates works cited and bibliographies in MLA, APA or Chicago Style, it helps you manage writing projects and papers from beginning to end.

ZOTERO - "is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize cite and share your research."  Watch this short video to learn more.

Ask a Librarian - Librarians are more than happy to help you with your citation questions.

St. Edward's University Writing Center - The Writing Center is a service provided by the School of Humanities for the St. Edward's University Community.  The Center is on the second floor of the Munday Library.  See:  St. Edward's University Writing Center Resources

Online Writing Lab (OWL) - The OWL paper review and writing Q&A services are for New College and graduate students only.  See: Online Writing Lab (OWL) Resources

Purdue Online Writing Lab - Comprehensive information about writing and citing from Purdue University.

MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers - Print edition.  Ask at the Library Information Desk, Munday Library.

APA - Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association - Print edition.  Ask at the Library Information Desk, Munday Library.

APA Style Blog - This resource is searchable and may provide the answer your citation question.
